Geotechnical design of a 25m long and 7m highpermanent retaining wall using contiguous concrete piles sheeting wall as partof the excavation for a retaining wall at the A. Athanasiou Ltd Coralli projectin Limassol.  The sheeting wall wasrequired by the Water Development Department because during the works thecontractor excavated and the two water pipes, one of which is the SouthernConveyor pressure pipeline was found. The pipelines is always in operation and the Southern Conveyor is underan average pressure of 25atm.  Thecontiguous concrete piles sheeting was designed also for seismic load becauseit is a permanent retaining structure.
