Geotechnical design of temporary retaining wall next to an existing residential building. A temporary retaining wall with double IPE beams, PT anchors and gunite (shotcrete) was designed.  The excavation was not deep, about 4m, but no displacements that could cause settlement to the existing building could be tolerated.
